Iren Puj is a contemporary abstract painter working from her studio near London.

 

Raised in an artistic family in Hungary and trained at the University of Timișoara, her practice is grounded in both formal training and a lifetime of making.

 

Working with acrylic, oil, mixed media and gold leaf, Iren develops each painting directly on the canvas. Colour, texture and balance are built instinctively through layered compositions and focused decisions made in real time.

 

Her work combines strength, depth and movement, creating statement pieces with a distinctive material presence.

 

Designed to transform contemporary interiors, her paintings are suited to private residences, hotels, restaurants, private clubs, offices and other refined spaces.
