Echoes of Marcin was created while listening to the music of Polish guitarist Marcin Patrzałek on repeat in my studio. I wanted to explore what his music might feel like if it became a painting rather than a song.

Working intuitively, I allowed each layer to respond to the one before it, letting composition, colour and texture unfold naturally. The deep blues reflect the atmosphere and depth of the music, while the gold carries its rhythm, energy and movement.

This painting isn’t about illustrating a piece of music. It’s about capturing what music leaves behind, the emotion, intensity and stillness that continue to resonate long after the final note has faded.
