Night Spark explores the moment when something unexpected begins to emerge from darkness.

Deep blues, black and violet create a rich, atmospheric surface, while fragments of gold and silver break through like sparks of light. Layers of movement draw the eye inward, giving the piece a sense of depth that changes as you move around it and as the light catches its textured surface.

Created intuitively, without a predetermined composition, the painting developed through movement, colour and instinct, becoming darker, richer and more powerful as each layer was added.

Small in scale but strong in presence, Night Spark is about those unexpected flashes of energy and light that have the power to shift everything.
