Shadows Carry Light is an exploration of resilience, the idea that even within difficult experiences, something meaningful can still be found.

Deep blues and layered textures hold the weight of the darker moments, while fragments of gold break through the surface, catching and changing with the light. They represent the beauty, strength and meaning that can emerge from what we have lived through.

The work reflects a philosophy I carry personally: we cannot change the past, but we can choose what we carry forward from it. Strength isn’t about avoiding darkness; it’s about finding the light within it and continuing to move forward.

The gold becomes a quiet reminder that even among the shadows, there is always something beautiful waiting to be seen.
